همه ما می دانیم که EA در 2 سال گذشته وارد مبارزه ای جدی شده تا بتواند Activision و سری Call of Duty را با عنوان هایش از محوریت توجه همگان خارج کند. این کمپانی با عرضه Battlefield 3 اولین قدم ها را برای این کار برداشت، اما Activision نشان داد که بیدی نیست که با این بادها بلرزد! مبارزه BF3 با MW3 به پایان رسید، اما صنعت گیم باید خودش را برای راند دوم مبارزه این دو کمپانی حاضر کند. در حالیکه Activision سعی دارد اطلاعات مختصری از Black Ops 2 منتشر کند، EA نسخه بعدی سری بازی های Medal of Honor را با نام Warfighter معرفی کرد. 2012، سالی است که MOH جدید روبروی Treyarch قرار می گیرد و ناشران این دو بازی قرار است نبرد سختی را با هم داشته باشند.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is an upcoming first-person shooter video game being developed by Danger Close Games and set to be published by Electronic Arts. It is a direct sequel to 2010s series reboot Medal of Honor (2010) and the fourteenth Medal of Honorinstallment in the series. The title was officially announced on February 23, 2012, and it is set to be released in North America on October 23, 2012, and in the United Kingdom on October 26, 2012.
The game will run on DICE's Frostbite 2 (the same engine that Battlefield 3 uses). The PC version will only support Windows Vista/7and DirectX 10 and 11.
The gameplay of Warfighter will include six different classes which are Assault, Sniper, Demolitions, Point Man, Heavy Gunner, and Spec Ops. It utilizes a fire team system where two people must work together and there will be certain perks to working as a team. "Support-actions" return in Warfighter, and now have a bigger impact on the gameplay and how you approach situations. Also, when you have acquired a kill-streak, you are given a choice on if you want one or the other, larger kill pile-ups will have greater rewards.
